**The Company**:
ER Recruitment is excited to be working with our client, a largely recognised charity in the Midlands. They are looking for an HR & Recruitment Administrator to cover maternity leave. Reporting into the HR Lead, the successful applicant will work closely with the HR Officer to manage the recruitment service, innovate HR best practices and provide administrative support service across the HR function.

**Role & Responsibilities of the HR & Recruitment Administrator**:

- Offer support throughout the recruitment process, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Liaise with the hiring manager and review recruitment approval requests to obtain precise records
- Schedule recruitment campaigns and manage them alongside overall workload
- Create suitable job adverts and load them on to the appropriate platforms
- Liaise with hiring managers to ensure the necessary arrangements are made for interviews and assessment centres, assisting where required
- Carry out pre-employment checks and obtain appropriate evidence
- Maintain staff records within the HR database to ensure all supporting documentation is received in a timely manner
- Send orientation packs to new starters and manage their onboarding
- Liaise with external organisations, including recruitment agencies, occupational health, etc.
- Escalate enquiries to the appropriate member of SLT where required
- Collate statistical information and generate reports to support the HR Key Performance Indicators
- Be proactive when suggesting development areas of the functionality of existing HR software, streamlining administration practices where possible

**About You as the HR & Recruitment Administrator**:

- Previous experience working as an administrator
- Competent use of IT including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Some understanding of the HR function and its importance, and an intrigue to explore this sector
- Organised individual with high attention to detail
- Professional communication skills both written and oral
- A team player
- Has a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- An autonomous worker who can manage and prioritise their own workload
- Someone who is compassionate and understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality
