Job Title: HR Administrator Lead

Location: Leicester, UK
Salary: £22,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to take the next step in their career as our new HR Administrator Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of office and HR procedures while maintaining accurate employee records. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with both the senior management team and employees to deliver a range of HR services.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in HR administration, with a strong desire to take the next step in their HR career. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of HR processes, employee contracts, and compliance, as well as proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources:
    • Provide an on-site HR presence for employees, addressing concerns and reporting to management.
    • Administer HR systems (PHR), maintain records, and assist with payroll checks.
    • Coordinate employee inductions, issue job offers, contracts, and ensure compliance with HR policies.
    • Assist with recruitment and manage employee communications.
    • Support the annual employee benefits review and pension regulations.
  • Office Management:
    • Organise meetings and take minutes for senior management, board level discussions, and disciplinary/grievance hearings.
    • Oversee office appearance, supplies, and social events.
    • Coordinate transport and accommodations for employees and visitors.
    • Maintain external company contracts and liaise with building landlords and tenants.
