**Summary**

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of all HR-based equality and inclusion projects, including management of the University’s equality charters programmes (Athena SWAN, the Race Equality Charter, Disability Confident, and our LGBTQ+ Inclusion Project).

The postholder will work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and charters leadership chairs and teams to ensure alignment in achieving equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) goals outlined in Vision 2030, charters Action Plans, the HR Strategic Plan, and wider university strategies to influence a positive institutional culture of inclusiveness.

**Faculty / Institute / Department**:
The Human Resources team (HR) works in partnership with departments and individuals across the University. Drawing on our professionalism, expertise and knowledge, our responsibilities range from staff empowerment to change facilitation. The HR department also serves as project lead for three institution-wide equality charters projects: Athena SWAN, the Race Equality Charter, Disability Confident, and our soon-to-be launched LGBTQ+ Inclusion Project. In everything we do, we champion a culture of positivity, inclusivity, and respect.
