This role is predominately homebased with the requirement to travel for meetings approximately once a month.

**How will you contribute?**
- You shall lead and coordinate the testing activities for payroll systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- You will develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality of payroll systems.
- We expect you to analyze test results and identify any issues or discrepancies, documenting them for further investigation and resolution.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and HR personnel to understand payroll system requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- We expect you to manage and prioritise multiple testing tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained. Including work and people management of a test administrator.
- You shall participate in meetings and discussions to provide input on payroll system enhancements, improvements, and process optimizations.
- You will create and maintain test data and environments necessary for testing purposes, ensuring data integrity and security.
- We expect you to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to payroll testing, continuously improving your knowledge and skills

**What will you bring?**
- Proven experience in leading payroll testing activities, including developing test strategies and plans.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and systems, with the ability to analyze complex payroll requirements and design effective test scenarios.
- Ability to coordinate and manage a team of testers, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of all testing activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and document defects, track issues, and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Experience in managing people and in allocation of work
- Proficient in using testing tools and software to conduct payroll testing, such as automated testing frameworks or HRIS platforms-namely, Oracle.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex payroll issues and propose innovative solutions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting payroll testing, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
