RECRUITMENTiQ are dleighted tyo be working with a University based in Cirencester. and are seeking a fill a role for a Registry Officer.

The Registry Officer (Systems) role will provide support for student systems including the student record system (Quercus), timetabling system (Celcat) and attendance monitoring system (Seats). This will include coordinating the initial configuration and ongoingmaintenance of systems to ensure they are effective and efficient. The postholder will also be responsible for delivering critical, system-dependent, business processes; in particular the maintenance, and annual rollover, of curriculum information in the studentrecord system (Quercus), annual production of the timetable (Celcat), and set up and maintenance of attendance monitoring reports (Seats).
The successful applicant will have advanced IT skills and experience working with complex record systems and large volumes of data, ideally in a Higher Education setting. Direct experience of student record systems (e.g. Quercus, SITs or Banner) or Timetablingsystems (e.g. Celcat) are highly desirable.
Your analytical skills will be well utilised, as you will be identifying and assessing issues as they arise, developing and implementing solutions to ensure our systems and data are maintained to a high standard. The ability to work independently, with mínimalsupervision while using your initiative are crucial to this role that has particularly demanding periods. You will have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan ahead.
This role will report to the Assistant Registrar (Student Records, Operations and Returns) and will contribute to the work of the Registry team, and wider Academic Services directorate, as required. All members of the Academic Services department work flexiblyto support each other and therefore this role holds opportunities for gaining a wider range of experience in academic administration.
