Accounts and office Assistant:
Are you experienced in the workings of Sage 50/ Xero accounting software and proficient in managing EPOS Now till systems? This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise while enjoying the serene beauty of the Cotswold countryside.
**Responsibilities**:
- Utilise Sage 50/Xero accounting software to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records and reconcile bank statements with precision and efficiency.
- Proficiently operate EPOS Now till systems, ensuring seamless transactions and accurate inventory management.
- Assist with payroll processing, employee expense reimbursements, and other financial tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely payments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Collaborate with various departments to support overall operational efficiency.
- Submit VAT returns monthly
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience with Sage 50/Xero accounting software.
- Proven experience with EPOS Now till systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong commitment to excellence.
- Be willing to work as part of a small team.
