Objective: We are looking for a Head of Product to develop our growing team to help us build the future of personalised digital mental health care. By blending user-needs and data driven improvements, you will work to align the customer needs with business objectives.
**Main responsibilities**:
The Head of Product will form part of a rapidly expanding design, content, clinical and data teams to continue to support growth in the UK and the US. They will lead the strategy and implementation of product development. They will work closely across the functions to ensure the product is developed with clinical efficacy and safety, as well as with the data science to ensure best practices are met. They must be ambitious, creative, pragmatic and curious.
**Commercial**:
- Translate an inspiring and commercially viable clinical vision and strategy for our digital mental health platform in the UK, guided by the VP Product
- Assess third party tooling and software for applicability and usefulness.
**Product Delivery**:
- Manage and mentor product managers, ensuring they meet their objectives in role.
- Oversee sprints and communicate sprint/goal progress as well as blockers and risks to the rest of the team.
- Lead high level product discovery work including competitor research, user research and design sprints, alongside our user research and design teams, and support the product team to do the same.
- Work with product team to form a product feature backlog to formulate a quarterly roadmap.
**Product Strategy**:
- Work alongside Director of Research and Data Science and Director of Product to ensure data science models are developed and deployed successfully in the product
- Work closely with Experience Design team to ensure app design is coherent to the clinical product model
- Sift through and draw insights from qualitative and quantitative data sets, and use data to drive decision-making
**Stakeholder Management**:
- Manage uncertainty by navigating shifting priorities and focus, guide team and stakeholders through complex problem spaces, helping them to consider trade-offs to make a decision.
- Communicate product decisions to the executive team, with the support of the VP of Product, and incorporate high level business needs into the product model.
- Act as main product stakeholder for established customers, communicating delivery timelines and changes to the roadmap, and liaising with them about their requirements and product updates.
**Specialist workflows**:
- Ensure the successful implementation of improvements to practitioner experience to achieve UK objectives as well as US App development.
- Lead in finding product market fit for the app in the UK, including a solution to support CAMHS waiting lists, with a possibility to then expand this solution globally.
**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline
- Building digital health products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology
- Leading, influencing and inspiring teams and the people around you
- Management experience
- Working collaboratively at all levels with engineering, product designers, user researchers and other business teams
- A proactive and relentless approach to self-improvement and an appetite to stay in tune with digital health trends
- A strong advocate of the user and a proven champion of the customer experience
- Strong knowledge of digital industry and mobile/web product development
**Desired**
- Understand commercial imperatives, competitor products and advancements and drive development of the business’s product accordingly
- Have a good understanding of technologies and implementing technology into SaaS products
- Can act as the main link between the technology, internal teams and the customer
- Is a clear communicator who can work with senior stakeholders.
- Has a strong understanding of design principles and best practice around UX and UI design implementation.
