**Summary**
Product Managers are leaders at IOG. They own a product from concept to delivery and adoption. As a leader of product managers you are responsible for ensuring your team define and deliver a suite of market fit products in a timely manner.

As a Head of Product Management at IOG, you will be accountable for leading a product practice and the successful delivery of the products in your team. As a leader of product managers and marketers you will manage and mentoring them in effective product processes. You will be accountable for delivery of market fit products in your portfolio. Working closely with internal key stakeholders, you will ensure we are aggressively moving from concept to implementation of your solutions. Your Product Marketing Managers will ensure we build and execute strong go to market plans to drive awareness and adoption.

As a leader for our innovation products you will ensure that we are able to quickly identify and assess new opportunities. Your understanding of our target markets, combined with your technical depth, will move products quickly from the concept stage to early stage products. As a venture studio leader you will achieve this ensuring products form holistic business models that create attractive entities for investors as well as align to the broader IOG product strategy.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of product managers and marketers
- Mentor the team for professional development
- Operate a process for product innovation that fosters market leading products
- Form a portfolio that maps to IOGs overall product and corporate strategy
- Identify and qualify new product opportunities
- Align to the engineering innovation team for early stage development
- Build a pipeline of spin-out companies that attract external investment
- Design and execute effective Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for your products and portfolio
- Represent our products externally, enhancing brand and product visibility.

**Requirements**:

- A bias for action and a self-starter who proactively acts without direction
- Ability to interface to technical and business roles equally
- Desire to gain insights from customers, partners and users directly
- Ability to grasp deep software technical concepts and work directly with engineering
- Ownership of the product portfolio championing it and driving it through natural resistance to delivery
- Effective coaching to cultivate a high-performance product team
- Developing, enforcing and refining a consistent product innovation process across the organisation
- Core product management skills: market requirements, product requirements, roadmapping
- Collaborative approach to innovation bringing together different disciplines for a full solution
- Strong presentation skills to internal and external customers
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- A keen interest in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency technology
- Uses data to support decisions and gain insights that are applied to our product strategy
- Management of a budget with accurate forecasts and spending against plan
- Works well with delivery teams to ensure projects are planned and delivered on time

**Education / Experience**
- Proven technical capabilities (Computer Science degree or equivalent experience)
- 5-10 years leading teams
- 10+ years experience working in software development
- Experience in product management, co-founder or related technical role.
- Experience collaborating with highly technical engineering, design and business teams.
- Experience developing blockchain or infrastructure technologies such as database or middleware
- Ideally, experience in finance or related field
