We have an exciting and new opportunity to join our Huws Gray Supply Chain Solutions team as **Head of Renewables & Social Housing Decarbonisation Strategy.**

The UK's Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) provides grants to help public sector bodies implement energy efficient measures and heat decarbonisation. It was set up to enhance the energy efficiency of social housing property and covers several upgrades to heating, including new heating systems, solar, ASHP, energy efficient doors & windows and upgraded insulation. As a result of this, we're looking for an individual to join our Supply Chain Solutions business to create and lead our sales strategy in this area to maximise sales opportunities.

As well as this, we're also looking for:

- Proven track record in sales, with a history of successfully securing opportunities from government funded projects.
- A strong understanding of those products that contribute to the SHDF initiative. Specifically, Solar, Solar PV, ASHP & new heating systems along with their ancillary products.
- Strong capability with using digital communication tools for sales purposes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade.
- Aptitude for quickly learning new technology and systems.
- Ability to understand and convey technical information in an accessible manner.
- Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to calculate and present ROI effectively.
- To hold a proficient understanding of government drawn legislation translating this into deliverable strategies that can be measured.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to articulate technology benefits clearly and persuasively.
- Utilise effective sales tactics and negotiation strategies to close deals with confidence.
- Manage client interactions and data accurately.
- Quickly grasp and communicate the benefits of new technology, ensuring relevance to client needs, and maintain technical proficiency for confident customer engagement.
