Claims Assessor (Group Income Protection)
**Your new company**
You will be working for one of the leading insurance companies in the UK. The office is based in central Brighton around a 2 minute walk from the station.
**Your new role**
This is a full-time role working within the Group Income Protection (GIP) as a claim assessor and understanding early intervention (which is getting people back to work before the deferred period). The claims assessors contribute to the proactive managementof claims whilst providing reassurance to customers through service excellence and accuracy of work, whilst developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.
This is a remote role but you will need to be required to attend an office day in Brighton once a month or as required.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to have at least 2 years experience working as a Claims Assessor or Claims Specialist in the GIP sector as well as understand early intervention. You will need to have some technical knowledge and would be beneficial to have some medical. As anindividual you'll need to have experience making decisions and communicating via telephone or in writing
