AIG Travel is a global travel insurance business based in Brighton. Millions of leisure and business travers rely on Travel Guard®, AIG Travel’s portfolio of travel insurance solutions and global assistance services, to help them recover from unexpected circumstances that can interrupt their travel plans.
What you need to know:
Due to winning a new contract, we are hiring a new team of Claims Assessors to join us. You will work a 37.5 hour Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:30pm.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Assess claims under AIG’s Travel Insurance plans
- Analyse claims made against the relevant policy wording to determine customer
- Contact claimants to request additional information where required, and settle or decline the claim as appropriate
- Guide customers through each stage of the claims process
- Work towards targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve business objectives
What we need from you:
You don’t need previous insurance experience as full training is provided, but you must be resilient, driven and self-motivated with a willingness to learn, and possess the following skills:
- Customer service and/or admin experience within an office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to meet targets and deadlines
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Good problem solving and investigative skills
