Claims Assessor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our rapidly growing travel insurance business as a Claims Assessor. We’re looking for self-motivated, customer centric individuals with Claims experience who want to grow their careers in a role that is incredibly rewarding and where every day is different.

Millions of leisure and business travers rely on Travel Guard®, AIG Travel’s portfolio of travel insurance solutions and global assistance services, to help them recover from unexpected circumstances that can interrupt their travel plans.

**What you need to know**:
We are hiring a new team of Claims Assessors to join us. You will work a 37.5 hour Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:30pm.

The start date for this role is 13th May 2024.

**Some of the key responsibilities include**:
Assess claims under AIG’s Travel Insurance plans
Analyse claims made against the relevant policy wording to determine customer
Contact claimants to request additional information where required, and settle or decline the claim as appropriate
Guide customers through each stage of the claims process
Work towards targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve business objectives

**What we need from you**:
Some previous claims experience is required. You must be resilient, driven and self-motivated with a willingness to learn, and possess the following skills:
Customer service and/or admin experience within an office environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to meet targets and deadlines
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Good problem solving and investigative skills
