An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our rapidly growing travel insurance business as a Claims Assessor . AIG Travel is a global travel insurance business based in Brighton. Millions of leisure and business travers rely on Travel Guard, AIG Travel’s portfolio of travel insurance solutions and global assistance services, to help them recover from unexpected circumstances that can interrupt their travel plans.
We are hiring a new team of Claims Assessors to join us. 5 hour Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:30pm.
Liaise with customers and corporate clients over the phone and via email
Assess claims under AIG’s Travel Insurance plans
Analyse claims made against the relevant policy wording to determine customer
Contact claimants to request additional information where required, and settle or decline the claim as appropriate
Guide customers through each stage of the claims process
Work towards targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve business objectives
Some previous claims experience is required. Customer service and/or admin experience within an office environment
25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
