**About You**
To be successful in the role you should be able to demonstrate:
- An experience and enthusiasm for delivering health and fitness education programmes within the post 16 learning environment as a tutor, assessor and IQA
- Experience in managing external relationships with quality bodies. Lead IQA experience is essential
- A clear and comprehensive understanding of the FE and Skills Ofsted Education Inspection framework
- An ability to develop and deliver quality improvement plans
**About the Role**
The YMCAfit Quality Lead is an additional role for us due to continued growth, providing dedicated resource to ensure the continued quality improvement of our already excellent commercial/funded training provider provision.
The role will be expected to manage the quality of the YMCAfit’s programmes. This includes management and delivery of the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) process and freelance IQA team, the development and management of our Quality Improvement Plan, management of the observation and assessment process and ensuring that we are fully prepared for external accreditations and inspections such as Ofsted and External Quality Assurance visits.
The role will report to the Quality and Curriculum Manager and work within the Charity's Quality team delivering excellence across a range of programmes
It is an exciting time for the department with the development of a digital learning offer imminent and expected growth as we rebound from the restrictions of the pandemic.
The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis although part-time would be considered and can be discussed at interview. We offer a flexible working pattern which will include occasional weekend working due to the nature of the commercial courses in our provision. This position is a remote/hybrid position with travel where required to our central office in London and across our centres in England (travel will be reimbursed).
