**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Mailroom Assistant / Post Room Operative / Mail Sorter who is customer focussed and professional at all times with the ability to work accurately.

Working as a Mailroom Assistant / Post Room Operative / Mail Sorter you will work as a member of the Site Services Team to ensure the efficient, effective, and proactive running of the service.

As a Mailroom Assistant / Post Room Operative / Mail Sorter you will perform a variety of tasks related to the mailroom and reprographics functions and will flexibly and proactively respond to any client requirements as and when necessary. Functions willinclude manual handling.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as a Mailroom Assistant / Post Room Operative / Mail Sorter will include:

- Promoting excellent customer service
- Build relationships with users and manage their perception and expectations, including resolving immediate/simple operational problems to ensure the best levels of customer service are delivered
- Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Dealing with enquiries from the client, both face to face and on the telephone
- Filing and retrieving documents, within an established filing system
- Booking and receipt of courier items
- Processing of archive files and tracking signature movements using the onsite computer systems
- Monitoring MFP fleet and attending to any issues
- Replenishing toner & paper
- Completion of in house client print requests
- Completion of client document finishing requests
- Complete daily meeting room checks
- Complete meeting room set-ups
- Conduct "floor walks" and report any irregularities
- Complete porterage request
- Basic audio visual support
- Maintain a central log of business locker utilisation and allocation
- Monitor and replenish agreed stock levels from an agreed central 'core list’

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Professional at all times when dealing with clients and proactively represent the company on site promoting excellent customer service
- Team oriented pro-active, open minded team player
- Ability to demonstrate commitment and flexibility at all times
- Multi-tasking skills and ability to work on a variety of items simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people
- Work accurately, under pressure, to tight deadlines with the ability to remain calm
- Knowledge of UK & international mailing arrangements (Desirable)
- Previous experience of Mailroom Operations
- Previous experience of Reprographics
- Experience dealing with enquiries from the client, both face to face and on the telephone (Desirable)
- Comfortable working in a small to medium team
