**Finance Assistant ** - Permanent Position

**Salary**:Negotiable, dependent on experience + Benefits

**Location**:Westhill, Aberdeenshire

**About the opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining weekly and month end ERP system processes
- Completing data analytics; summarizing findings and recommendations
- Completing ongoing balance sheet maintenance
- Manage credit cards and expenses
- Prepare monthly VAT returns
- Work alongside financial controller to prepare monthly accounts
- Provide support for audit processes in gathering requests; findings; for addressing auditor inquiries
- Ensure agreed objectives and targets are achieved.
- To work within ISO 9001 and Quality Management system guidelines.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Accounting Qualification, degree level preferred
- Desire to work towards Chartership - CIMA / ACCA
- Competence in Microsoft Office package, strong excel skills.
- Experience of ERP systems
- Can work autonomously and is able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
