**Payroll Assistant**

CHAP Group is a fast-growing, Westhill-based Civil Engineering and Construction Company. We are looking for a Payroll Assistant (Entry Level) to support our payroll department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collate weekly timesheets.
- Process weekly payroll (full training will be given)
- Maintain payroll records.
- Assist in ensuring payroll and pension processes and procedures follow current regulations.
- Administration of holiday records.
- Undertake/assist with compiling reports (eg end of year).
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Learn to address employee/manager payroll queries.
- Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be requested by senior management.

**Qualifications**
- SCQF level 4/Nat 5 (or equivalent) passes in English and Maths.

**Competencies**
- Ability to work on own initiative and be self-organised.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Computer Literacy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Keen to progress their finance/payroll career
- Strong Excel skills and competent with other MS Packages

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
