Train Driver Assessor/Trainer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Train Driver Assessor/Trainer to join a tier one contractor

The main purpose of the Train Driver Assessor/Trainer is to manage ERTMS safety critical training and competency within Rail Services.

Key responsibilities for this Train Driver Assessor/Trainer role:

- Responsible to the senior freight trainer assessor for ensuring effective implementation of railway group standards and industry codes of practice around the implementation of ERTMS,
- strategies and policies significant to the safe operation of all freight.
- freight equipment owned by third parties and operated under contract.
- Responsible for assisting in maintaining the integrity of ROG compliance.
- Implement and manage training and competency assessment regime, including risk management and safety performance monitoring.

Experience required for this Train Driver Assessor/Trainer role:

- Be a widely experienced railway person with an excellent knowledge of freight operation.
- Have comprehensive knowledge in rail industry standards
- Hold Trainer, Assessor Qualifications.
- Be willing to undertake further training as the post dictates.
- Have excellent communication skills and organisational ability.
- Have excellent IT skills. Experience in administration organisation.
- Hold UK driving licence.

Further desireable experience required for this Train Driver Assessor/Trainer role:

- Have comprehensive knowledge in rail industry standards relating to ERTMS including operational safety, and Health & Safety legislation.
