**It is an exciting time to join Avanti West Coast. With the arrival of our new trains, we are looking for a Driver Trainer to join our team to deliver training on our new Hitachi Fleet as well as our current, Pendolinos and Voyagers**

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and preparing driver training course materials to ensure timely delivery. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring that all training materials comply with legislation and standards set by our Driver Standards Manager. Your expertise in conducting driver assessments through practical rides, written exams, computer-based assessments, and driving simulator scenarios will be essential in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

We strive to continuously improve and enhance our training programs, your keen eye for detail will be instrumental as part of this effort. You will have the opportunity to deliver safety-related training courses to different levels within and outside of Avanti West Coast giving you the chance to share your knowledge and expertise with a wider audience, making a positive impact not just within our company, but also in the broader railway industry.

**You will be able to demonstrate**:
- Good knowledge of Rules and Regulations with at least 3 years train driving experience and driver management experience.- Avanti West Coast traction knowledge and Personal Track Safety.- NVQ qualification to A1 and V1 (or equivalent) Assessor and Verification must be held (or being worked towards).- NVQ L10, L11, L12 (or equivalent) Training Qualifications must be held (or being worked towards).- TOLO qualified.- Excellent communication, both written and verbal with strong attention to detail
