Activities Co-ordinator

Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a **Activities Co-ordinator **to join our team at **Birch Abbey Nursing Home, Alexandra Road, Southport**. The shifts will vary throughout the week and will involve some weekends, **40hrcontract available.**
Birch Abbey is a Nursing home catering for up to 60 residents. The home specialises in dementia care, and our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.
**About the role**:
We are looking for an Activities Coordinator who is caring, enthusiastic and organised. You will be required to create ideas, organise social and recreational events, both in and outside of the home, and consult with our residents to identify their social and recreational interests, generate enthusiasm and support the delivery of these activities.
