Parts Administrator

You will support the Parts Manager with the effective and smooth running of the Parts Department.
You will also be expected to grow with the business in this role as it looks to become industry leading and one that will offer a “One Stop Facility” for all fleet owning operators to have their Trailers repaired and refurbished at this site.
**Main responsibilities and objectives**:
- Provide accurate quotes to customers and follow through to sale of goods.
- Liaise with suppliers to order parts and get quotes for new items.
- Process orders, pick and pack parts for delivery and ensure our in-house system is updated accurately.
- Raising of purchase orders when requested TAG accounts and suppliers.
- Monitoring stock levels to ensure any stock needed is ordered promptly to ensure the site runs smoothly.
- Checking goods upon receipt and receiving
- Ensure any returned parts are placed back in the correct location and our in-house system is updated accordingly.
- Ensure all paperwork, including quotes, delivery notes and invoices, are dealt with in a timely manner, including sending to customers and TAG Accounts.
- Support the Parts Department with stock checks.
**Skills required**:
- You will have strong communication skills and have the ability to work towards deadlines under pressure.
- You will have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work well within a growing team.
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to work using own initiative with limited supervision.
- The desire to fully embrace being part of a wider team - happy to lend a hand to others where needed.
- “Tidy as you go” mentality with cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
- IT literate with good typing skills and confident using a range of programmes and systems.
- Experience as an Administrator is essential, within a similar industry is desirable.
Salary is £22,000.00 - £24,000.00 dependant upon experience.
