The primary focus of this role will be to engage with various stakeholders, businesses, employers, employees and the community to promote and raise awareness of the colleges new Green Academy and specifically our Green Skills 24 Project. As part of the project you will be expected to engage with stakeholders at all levels ranging from SME to large organisations within the private and public sector across the Carmarthenshire region, promoting net zero and sustainability skills training and qualification opportunities and gaining local market intelligence on trends and employer needs within this sector.

The post provides an exciting and challenging opportunity to be at the heart of developing Net Zero and Sustainability skills and supporting those that want to gain or improve existing skills across all sectors for this funded project.

**Key Responsibilities**
- As a minimum requirement, recruit Carmarthenshire employees for Net Zero and Sustainability Awareness to all public sector organisations to meet the projects targeted outcomes
- Promote the academy’s IEMA portfolio of sustainable qualifications and training opportunities, with a focus on meeting recruitment targets
- Engage with employers and businesses across the region within all sector to promote green and sustainable qualifications and training
- Continue to promote delivery of Net Zero skills and training through the Green Skills Academy to the build environment and automotive sectors

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**

**Essential Criteria**:

- GCSE English and Mathematics at minimum Grade C or O Level equivalent
- At least three years relevant experience of business development including the introduction and implementation of new initiatives
- Experience of employment in a training environment
- Experience of business and employer engagement
- Experience of working in partnership with external agencies
- Experience of developing income generating activities in an educational environment
- Track record of successful client management with businesses
- Experience of working in a sales environment
- Competence in the use of a range of IT systems and packages

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Educated to Degree level or substantial suitable experience
- PGCE or Training Qualification
- Experience of teaching or delivering training
- Desirable experience in working in the Construction and Built Environment sector and have some knowledge of Retrofitting/decarbonisation and Renewable solutions

**Welsh Language Requirements**:

- Welsh Oracy (Listening/Speaking) - **Level 2**:

- Welsh Literacy (Writing/Reading) - **Level 2**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £32,328.00-£34,375.00 per year
