Are you a driven Events Coordinator looking for an exciting new opportunity?

We are looking for a highly experienced, passionate and driven Events Coordinator with a solid background in hotel-based meetings and events for our esteemed client based in the Cambridge area. Known for its impressive meetings, conference and events spaces, their operations take inspiration from the most up and coming venues and as a business they are committed to providing the best in customer service for their prestigious clients.

As Events Executive, you will be fully responsible for booking, coordinating and executing each event from end to end with an aim to grow the business further. As well as working closely with the Centre, you will also liaise with the onsite catering team to ensure the all needs are met so that events are perfectly executed exceeding client expectations.

As well as nurturing existing client relationships, you will also work to expand your client portfolio by means of proactive sales, networking and promoting the business to potential clients in the local area - all whilst ensuring the best customer service is provided from enquiry and initial contact to execution.

Required experience:

- 2+ years’ experience as an Events Coordinator.
- A real self-starter, confident in building relationships, driving new sales opportunities whilst nurturing long term existing relationships.
- Working to set revenue targets, you will have a passion for driving the MICE business and achieving goals.
- You will be a natural people person, you will have a strong passion for providing high standards of service ensuing client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills.
- A strong network and knowledge of the local market is a must for this role

**The package**:
