**What does our People and Talent Advisor do?**
As a company, we’re on an exciting growth journey - that’s where you come in We are looking for an organised, experienced and passionate individual to join us as our Talent and People Advisor. In this role you will work in partnership with the Head of People and line-managers on all aspects of employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit interviews. You will have the opportunity to drive key projects that align with the company’s strategic goals. This is a great opportunity for you to take the helm of some really exciting People projects and gain experience leading initiative that enhance employee engagement, development and retention.
Our ideal People & Talent Advisor will be a HR and recruitment professional with 5-10 years of experience and a deep passion for fostering an exceptional workplace culture. This role is perfect for an experienced HR professional eager to advance their career, taking on a pivotal role in shaping and driving our company's culture. **Recruitment and Lifecycle**:
- You will lead our onboarding process for all new hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to succeed.
- Manage exit procedures, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees.
**Collaboration with Head of People**:
- You will provide support to the Head of People, including scheduling, documentation and other ad-hoc tasks and admin.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on employment-related matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Issue contracts and manage our HR system (People HR) including keeping and updating employee records on our HR platform.
- Issue employment letters (probation, disciplinary, contract amendments) and assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
**Office Management**:
- You will be in charge of making sure our office environment is exciting and welcoming to all staff.
- You will oversee our office budget, ensuring there are adequate supplies for our staff. As well as ensuring our office redecoration project goes ahead without a hitch
- You will manage office attendance and rota checks ensuring our attendance rota is being respected.
**Culture**:
- You will lead the planning and execution of culture-building initiatives, including the summer and Christmas parties, as well as other team outings.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, such as surveys and other feedback mechanisms.
- You will foster a positive and inclusive company culture through various employee engagement activities and leading our Happiness and Culture Team.
**What we would love to see from you**:
- Proven experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with confidential information and maintaining a level of discretion.
- Experience in recruitment and leading recruitment
- Understanding of various HR Systems, plus points for People HR.
- Up-to-date knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Computer literate with programmes such as word, excel etc.
- Fantastic organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple workflows.
- Passionate about people and developing others.
- A keen interest in the travel and events industry a plus with an interest to travel internationally.
- Experienced with an international workforce a plus.
