We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to ensure effective end to end payroll processing and timely payment of all weekly paid employees, while ensuring accuracy in accordance with employment legislation and union agreements.

This role is part-time based on 24.5 hours from Monday to Thursday.

Monday to Wednesday 8am to 4pm, Thursday 8am to 11.30am.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Effective end to end processing of all weekly payrolls, ensuring deadlines are met accurately
- Collating weekly timesheets
- Maintain and update payroll parameters for Government Legislation
- Ensure all line managers and supervisors comply with Unite/Company pay agreements and staffing arrangements
- On time issue of weekly management information reports
- Ensure PAYE payments made on time
- Ensure reconciliation of PAYE and NIC payments to Full Payment Submission and P32
- Administering of company pension scheme
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring all authorised and unauthorised absence is accounted for in the system including holiday, bereavement, maternity, paternity etc
- Ensure shift and rota patterns reflect different rules for overtime and shifts, late time and absences

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Minimum of 2 years experience of working in a payroll environment
- Knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SPP and pension schemes
- Experience of full RTI and Tax Year End processes
- Ability to work accurately and to set deadlines

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24.5 per week
