**Office Assistant/Administrator - Estimating Department**

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Office Assistant/Administrator to join our team and support the Estimator in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

**Role Overview**:As an Office Assistant/Administrator for the Estimating Department, you will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth operations and collaboration within the department. You should have experience working in an office environment, possess excellent inbox management skills, and exhibit polished telephone manners. Strong written communication skills and the ability to confidently compose letters are essential for success in this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Estimator to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects.
- Monitor incoming quotes and respond promptly to gather necessary information for accurate estimation.
- Coordinate the ordering of materials and liaise with maintenance teams to schedule planned works effectively.
- Utilize information provided by the Estimator Manager to generate quotes for clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Assist in various administrative tasks to maintain the department's smooth operation.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience working in an office environment is essential.
- Proficiency in inbox management, telephone etiquette, and professional written communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Driving licence or progressing towards.

**Salary and Perks**:
