Promote patient safety and clinical/corporate governance within all IHG services. Support the Head of Quality and Governance and Matrons with the on-going development and oversight of IHG audit programme. Maintain and manage IHG policies, standard operating procedures, guidelines and other documents (including document management) ensuring all are reviewed within timeframe, and correct version control is adhered to. Ensure clinical standards and clinical practice are up to date by cascading updates, safety alerts and notices to staff (CAS, Health and Safety, NICE guidance).

Assist the Head of Quality and Governance in the administration of processes and procedures in a timely manner to meet quality standards. Organising and minuting of meetings. Maintain and complete timely records of all actions derived from quality and governance functions within IHG central electronic files ensuring the highest levels of care attention and detail are adhered to. To undertake all reasonable requests to provide admin support that may from time to time fall outside of the Quality and Governance team, but will remain within the wider administrative process of IHG.
