**What you'll be doing**:
The HR Advisor will work across the business line providing guidance and support to leaders on people related matters, developing the capacity of line managers to manage a range of Employee Relations (ER) matters locally, developing their management styles to foster positive working relationships with employees, minimising the occurrence of employee relations issues and fostering a positive climate for ER activity.

The HR Advisor will coach and develop stakeholders to be competent and consistent in their execution of Veolia’s Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures; whilst fostering a partnership relationship with the Trade unions at the local level, by supporting stakeholders with local negotiations and joint initiatives. This role will work collaboratively with the Employee Relations Specialists and HR Business Partners within the Commercial Business Unit on a range of people and organisational matters specific to the division.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience in an HR Generalist or Employee Relations (ER) role within a unionised and regulated environment, dealing with ER matters.
- The ability to work well under pressure, with strong communication and influencing skills, problem-solving ability and the ability to deliver results to demanding deadlines.
- Experience of complex workforce planning within a large matrix organisation, with strong knowledge of employee engagement and engagement led initiatives.
- Have a proven track record of advising and influencing senior stakeholders in an operational environment on confidential and challenging issues.
- Minimum level 5 CIPD or equivalent qualification. Chartered member of CIPD or working towards this with evidence of continuous professional development.
