**HR Advisor**

**Part Time 22.5 hours**

**LOCATION: Cannock**

**SALARY: £32k - £35k (pro rata) depending on experience**

At Newlife, our mission, simply put, is to change the lives of disabled children and their families. We provide access to the vital equipment they rely on, offer information and support through our team of dedicated healthcare professionals, sponsor pioneering medical research into the causes of birth defects and offer families a voice through our campaigns for change.

We are not like any other charity. All the stock in our stores is new, donated by retailers, allowing us to create a heaven for bargain hunters and savvy fashionista shoppers who want high street products at discount prices.

What we do and how we do it is unique and being a “Newlifer” is very special. Our team members are passionate about what they do and the contribution they make in helping the families we work with.

**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will provide generalist HR Advisor support as necessary, including HR practice, policies, procedures and employment law, whilst strengthening our employee engagement agenda. You will be the first point of contact in all employee relations activity and document advice and support to the managers. Working closely with our management team across both retail and charity to support the health and wellbeing of their staff and, heading up our absence management (both short and long term), including managing Occupational Health referrals.

The role is 22.5 hours per week, which can be worked across 3 or 4 days to suit all parties, however some flexibility is required in days/hours where there is a business need to change these. There may be some travel to other sites on occasion.

**What we are looking for**:
A minimum of 2 years generalist HR experience at Advisor level, you will ideally be qualified to CIPD level 5. You will be great at relationship building and have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. You will also be highly IT literate, including Microsoft Office 365, HR Information systems and databases
