Apprentice Radiographic Assistant Practitioner

We’re offering a fantastic opportunity for an individual with NHS Imaging department experience to train as a Radiographic Assistant Practitioner and ultimately secure a Band 4 post in the Imaging Directorate at the University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) on the General Modality Team.
This role will be based at County Hospital, Stafford with the opportunity to rotate through Royal Stoke and Community hospitals which are all part of the UHNM family.
Following successful completion of The Band 4 Assistant Practitioner apprenticeship as an Assistant Practitioner you will work under the supervision of a qualified radiographer to perform protocol limited radiographic examinations of the Chest, Pelvic and Appendicular Skeleton in accordance with the trusts Expansion of Practice for Assistant Practitioners in Plain Film protocol.
