About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Support Assistant to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will provide high-quality support to our sonographers, nurses, and medical staff.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also possess basic computer skills, including accurate data input, and be able to maintain confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Imaging Department
  • Assist with general patient care, including data input and clerical duties
  • Liaise with ward staff, porters, radiographers, administrative staff, and patients to ensure smooth department operations

A competitive salary of £23,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade C or above
  • Evidence of continuing development
