Administrative Assistant for Maternity Services

This is an exciting opportunity to join the maternity team in an administrative role. You will support the midwifery education team, matrons and specialist midwives.
This is a busy, Trust wide role, and will require the post holder to work as part of a team but also be happy to work alone during periods where midwifery staff are required to work clinically.
You may be based predominantly on one site but required to travel once a week minimum to the other (Lincoln / Boston).
This is an admin role supporting the maternity quality team. This includes all kinds of administrative support
- Typing up minutes
Data entry
Diary management
Printing/copying/laminating
General admin
Working as part of the Maternity and Gynaecology Department to support the Matrons and Senior Administration Assistant to deliver the trust objectives and strategy. The Maternity and Gynaecology Matrons support delivery of inpatient and outpatient services across United Lincolnshire Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of operational clerical support to the Matrons and their teams in order to deliver a first class service, guaranteeing that targets are met and data captured is relevant, timely and accurate.
The post holder will be contributing to the delivery of a range of administrative support tasks to the Matrons.
The post requires the ability to prioritise various demands and to work at times in a pressured environment to meet deadlines.
