That's where Liberis steps in To best help small businesses, Liberis has built the leading global embedded finance platform. Through this platform, Liberis provides partners with the technology and financial solutions necessary to offer personalised and accessible funding to their small business customers.

To date with ~20 global strategic partners and direct reach to more than 1 million small businesses, Liberis has provided $1 bn of funding in over 50,000 transactions, enabling more than 100,000 jobs to be created and saved.

We are in a very exciting period of growth, both within the UK and internationally, with teams based in London, Nottingham, USA, and Scandinavia. As we continue to grow, we are looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join us to reshape business finance.

**Who are we? (Team)**

We are the Collections team. We exist to work with customers who are experiencing financial difficulties and help them return to good standing wherever possible. There are 7 of us based in Nottingham that cover the UK market and we are now looking for a Collections Agent to join us on this journey.

**Who are you? (The role)**

As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for the delivery of an in-house collection process managing a diverse receivables book. This will involve maintaining high quality, accurate and timely information which improves collection levels and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Daily monitoring of the receivables book to identify underperforming and inactive customers
- Investigate why a customer has become inactive using multiple resources and finding the most efficient solution for rehabilitating those customers
- Send legal letters to customers who we are unable to contact
- Ensure defaulting account volumes do not exceed budget by minimising how many accounts need to be sent for Debt Collection
- Work with little supervision to manage and prioritise your daily workload and call out any risk of delivery to your line manager
- Ensure we treat our customers fairly

**We think you need**
- Experience within a collections team, preferably with SME collection
- Ability to self-manage and prioritise
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for working with people at all levels
- High level of integrity
- Professional attitude
- Excellent excel and reporting skills
- Detail orientated
- Ability to identify and raise improvements to process and procedures

**What will set you apart?**
- Experience working in fintech or financial services industry
- Knowledge of embedded finance and/or embedded lending preferred
- A proven track record of growing businesses with large strategic partners
