We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our busy Accounts Receivable team at our offices in Wetherby. The Credit Control team play a vital part in the business operation focusing on maximising cash collection, minimising bad debts, maintaining customer relationships and working as part of a team.

**Job profile**:

- Proactive collection of overdue invoices on the assigned ledger across our Private Development & Public Sector customer base.
- Managing risk by regular communication with customers & sales managers.
- Allocation of customer payments.
- Posting ledger transactions.
- Issuing Applications / Invoices and supporting documentation.
- Query handing and investigation.
- Final Accounting and retention management.
- Review the held order report & make decisions to release goods.
- Customer master data maintenance.
- Reviewing credit limits.

**Previous Experience**:

- Previous Credit Control Experience (ideally 3 years +).
- Construction Industry ideal (or similar complex collections background).
- B2B Collections.

- Experience in a similar credit role.

- Ability to problem solve and work under own initiative.

- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
- Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints.
