Accounts & Administrative Assistant

Marsland Timber & Building Supplies is an independant family owned merchant business consisting of three branches and supplying both trade and retail customers with a wide range of construction and landscaping materials. We are proud to trace our company history back to 1850, our core principles being Quality, Service and Value with our staff being part of our "family" many of whom have very long service records.
Job Overview:
**Duties**:
- Sales ledger & credit control
- Dealing with customer account queries
- Purchase ledger payments and reconcilliations
- Dealing with supplier invoice queries
- Weekly Payroll
- Prepare reports as required
- Maintain office supplies stocks and place orders when necessary
- Maintainance of personnel files
- Assist relevent director to maintain Health & Safety documentation
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
**Experience**:
- Bookeeping/accounts experience
- Sage or other payroll software experience/knowledge would be an advantage
- Microsoft 365 suite.
- Excellent phone and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
We offer a competitive rate of pay based on your experience and skill set. This is a part-time position offering 24 hours flexible weekday working. If you are a self-motivated individual with strong accounts and administrative skills capable of working independantly as well as part of a team in a fun and busy working environment then we look forward to hearing from you.

**Salary**: £13.50-£15.71 per hour
