Business Unit Administrator

**Job description**
**Background**
- Omexom is a brand through which VINCI Energies undertakes its Transmission & Distribution activities. Omexom specialise in the design, supply, installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical infrastructures for a varied range of electricity utility companies and renewable energy developers throughout the UK and Ireland.
- The Role
- Supporting the Renewables NI business unit, role responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Act as a point of contact for Omexom staff, contractors, customers and suppliers.
- Creation of Purchase Orders on company ERP system (SAP)
- Provide general administration support to Project Managers and General Manager.
- Administration associated with procurement, fleet and other general administration duties.
- Completion of adhoc reports as required by the Finance Business Partner
- Booking training and updating the relevant database
- Administration of expense payments
- Credit and Fuel card administration and analysis.
- Project Document Control including issue of revision managed drawings
**Essential Skills and Competencies**
- A minimum of 2 years recent experience in providing administrative support within a busy office environment.
- Strong IT skills including use of the Microsoft Office package with the ability to quickly learn new skills and become familiar with new software packages.
- Be able to work under pressure, be a team player and have a high level of self-motivation.
- The flexibility to work additional hours whenever required.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is of the upmost importance
- Excellent oral and written skills are essential to ensure professional communication
- at all times
**Desirable Skills and Competencies**
- Relevant additional qualifications which will assist in ensuring high levels of performance.
- Evidence of recent administrative experience in a busy commercial environment
- Possess the ability to use your initiative to ensure new skills and tasks are picked up easily.
- Excellent organisational, and interpersonal skills, able to relate to staff at all levels.
- A good standard of educational attainment with a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above two of which must be Maths and English
- Knowledge of SAP purchasing module
