**Your Company - Business Development Manager**

As part of a £3m turnover catering equipment group, this company’s purpose is to partner with premium pizza catering equipment brands from around the world and to bring their products to the Foodservice industry in the UK.

This position is focused predominantly on serving distributors who are part of a large national buying group, which this company is a member of. You will be responsible for recommending catering equipment to existing distributors within this buying group;and will liaise with customers on how to get the best from this company’s products including all of the features and benefits which are important and relevant to the chefs that will be using the equipment.

As a sales person it’s highly frustrating when you are trying to develop sales with a poor product catalogue behind you. **Your Role - Business Development Manager**
- This is a farming focused sales role, so this position is better suited to a long-term relationship builder as opposed to a sales hunter
- You will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing relationships with distributors who belong to a buying group, which this company is a member of
- You will also be responsible for developing other dormant distributor accounts who have purchased from this business in the past
- After your training/onboarding period, you will inherit a portfolio of accounts worth approximately £150,000 per annum
- Travel 3-4 days per week to visit customers, predominantly within Central UK along the M6/M40 Corridor with full management of your own travel schedule
- Travel to the Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon every 2-3 weeks

**Your Background - Business Development Manager**
- You have a minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
- You have previous knowledge in commercial kitchen/catering environments
- You are IT savvy with previous experience of using a CRM system
- Must hold a UK driving licence
- Ideally based in Central UK, near the M6/M40 Corridor between London and Manchester
