Family Support Team Worker

The Family Support Team seek to offer children, young people (aged between 0-25 years of age) and their families the right support at the right time. We offer practical support, guidance and advice to those needing help with improving their circumstances; with a particular focus on promoting parenting, healthy relationships and access for all to community resources to address the support needs of families in our County.
Your responsibility will be to provide a key worker role service to families who are identified as having more than one enduring need; including those with a diagnosed disability who may benefit from specific time limited support to prevent escalating need as directed by the Team Manager, Family Support Team (FST).
You must have five GCSE grade c or equivalent (to include English language) and have previous experience of working with children and families.
An NVQ3 or above in Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
