Pembrokeshire County Council presents an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about working in Social Care. Our Community Well-being and Independence Team has multiple vacancies for casual, full-time, and part-time permanent Support Worker positions. We are actively seeking support staff across Pembrokeshire to join our dynamic team.

As a support worker, you will play a vital role in providing physical and emotional support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. By enabling them to remain independent, you will contribute to their overall well-being and enhance their quality of life.

We are committed to your professional development. As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to undertake the QCF Level 2 qualification and register as a domiciliary worker with Social Care Wales. Our team will provide the necessary support and guidance to help you achieve these milestones.

Safeguarding and protecting children and adults at risk is a high priority for Pembrokeshire County Council. We aim to support vulnerable children and adults at risk to ensure they are as safe as they can possibly be. We are committed to ensuring their safety and will take action to safeguard their well-being. The Council’s Corporate Safeguarding Policy provides a framework for every member of staff and Service within the Council, setting out responsibilities in relation to safeguarding and protecting children and adults at risk as well as the methods by which the Council will be assured that it is fulfilling its duties.
