**What does the role of Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator entail?**

Your main role will be to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activities and occupation to all of our residents. You will also guide, develop and coach our staff in engagement and activity with residents, so that every day is filled with magical moments. We believe it is everyones responsibility to help our residents live well, and enjoy life. You will ensure residents dignity and self-esteem is enhanced through meaningful engagement, positive relationships and free expression of individuality.
- Included in your responsibilities:

- Leading on, and delivering, high quality meaningful activity for all residents
- Ensuring people living with dementia, mental health and physical disabilities enjoy the same opportunities for engagement and activity as other residents
- Stimulating excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents
- Promoting and developing wellbeing as highlight of the day
- Creating and maintaining excellent community links
- Patient, caring and compassionate
- Capable of thinking on your feet whilst inspiring others with your cheerful personality

So that you have the confidence and skills to deliver high quality activity and engagement to residents, you will receive individual support, guidance and investment in your development.

**Location**

Elliots Hill care home - 18 bed residential service

Perrots Lodge - 8 bed residential service

Both are located on the outskirts of Haverfordwest in Crowhill.
