**Great benefits**:
£32,000-37,500 (plus commission based on upsell)

**Role Overview**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our SME Consultancy team. You will own a portfolio of SME customers, looking after our entire range of products and services (Group Risk, Group Healthcare, Pension, Flexible/Voluntary Benefits, Rewards & Recognition and Wellbeing). This role is central to the continued growth and success of the department.
You will be responsible for working with SME customers post-sales to advise on the best solution for them, oversee implementation, look for opportunities to add value through our other products and services (upsell), and proactively manage renewal processes.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide **consultancy services** to small to medium sized portfolios where you will build detailed relationships with each of customer. You will cover **Group Risk, Group Healthcare, Pension, Flexible/Voluntary Benefits, Rewards & Recognition and Wellbeing.**:
- **Managing, retaining, and growing customers** across Group Risk, Healthcare benefits and Flexible/Voluntary benefits.
- **Implement a customer’s online benefits platform** effectively and efficiently with pre-launch meetings, presentations, and following through until go live. Then providing the customer with sufficient after care to include calls, monthly reports and renewals where needed.
- **Contributing to profitable revenue growth **through identifying and closing any **upsell opportunities.**:
- **Efficiently securing pre renewal calls**, completing renewals/underwriting, advising on relevant product knowledge and benchmarking benefits as appropriate in market reviews.
- **Proactively manage customers** to delivery the highest service quality possible
- Deal with any customer queries and offer robust solutions to any issues that may arise
- Coordinate with internal teams to** ensure timely delivery of agreed services** to the customer in line with our service level agreements.
- **Keep up to date with industry knowledge** and suggest improvements to our processes.
**What are we looking for?**
- Proven experience in **at least one customer facing role**: sales, account management, customer success, consultancy
- **Commercial mindset** with evidence of creating value for customers and **upselling **solutions
- Experience within **Employee Benefits **would be highly desirable. Ideally Group Risk or Healthcare, but any knowledge of voluntary benefits, pensions, rewards and recognition, discounts, employee wellbeing or SaaS related products.
- The ability to** build long term, value driven relationships** with customers
- **A proactive mindset,** whether that be suggesting something new to help a customer or improving an internal process
- Someone eager to** keep learning and improving**:
- **Adaptability, **this is a varied role where no two days are the same.
- **Excellent verbal and written **communication skills.**
**Bonus points for**:
- Understanding of FCA procedures & compliance procedures.
- GR1/ IF7 qualified or the desire to work towards achieving these.
