Bedford Modern School is an HMC Independent Co-educational Day School located on the outskirts of Bedford. Our facilities are excellent and include a separate Junior School, dedicated Sixth Form building, purpose-built Science Centre opened in 2017 and extensive sports facilities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and self-motivated Executive Assistant to provide a wide range of executive, administrative and secretarial services to support the Director of Operations.
Proactively managing and coordinating the Director of Operations commitments, prioritising workload, leading projects and ensuring the efficient running of his office will be integral to this interesting, demanding and rewarding role.
You will probably have five plus years’ experience of working in an Executive/PA or similar executive support role, coupled with excellent IT and organisational skills. You will be expected to prioritise workloads to meet conflicting needs and remain calm when under pressure. You will also have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to develop successful and effective relationships with all members of the BMS community and handle situations professionally, with diplomacy and empathy.

This post is full time 37.5 hours per week, all year round.
