We are seeking an **IT Support Assistant**, to join our close-knit, friendly IT team in **Northampton**.

This role is a full time office based role but we do understand that flexibility is essential for a good work life balance.

You will be responsible for providing first line IT support and to assist in resolving day to day IT problems/queries in order to ensure that smooth running of the IT systems takes place at all times.

**Some of these duties will include**:

- To log and maintain calls with both software and hardware maintenance providers ensuring that the calls are responded to within SLAs.
- To be involved in the firm’s new starters and leavers processes ensuring that the procedures for managing these is comprehensive and carried out to the full.
- To be involved in the leavers process with particular focus on closing down all system accounts.
- To resolve day to day IT problems ensuring that all queries are recorded and followed up as necessary.
- Produce good quality documentation and written reports, e.g. how-to guides
- To assist in the implementation of new software packages.
- PC and laptop builds.
