This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is seeking an opportunity to be an Administration Assistant within an innovative Children’s Neurodiversity Service.

If you are a dynamic and motivated, individual with experience of working with young people and their families, then we would like to hear from you.

You will be joining an established team of Administration, within an up and coming Neurodiversity Service. This multi-disciplinary Service provides assessment and interventions for young people with a Learning Disability, ADHD, Autism and Long-Term Health Conditions.

As a Trust, we see the value in supporting the development and progression of our people through apprenticeship pathways, combining vocational learning with on-the-job experience.

This post will enable you to develop and understanding of working within the NHS, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to gain the essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours for this role.

To provide and receive information accurately and in a timely fashion, including answering high volumes of telephone calls, processing of incoming and outgoing post, inputting of data / referrals.

To demonstrate competent interpersonal skills with staff, young people, carers and professionals on the telephone and face to face, providing routine information where appropriate.

To problem solve, dealing with enquiries effectively and responsively - redirecting if necessary / appropriate to do so.

To provide support to colleagues, both admin and clinicians as appropriate and when needed, this may include sending out letters, uploading of documentation / scanning, inputting referrals onto systems.
