**Summary of Role**

To contribute to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the firm by providing personalised, high impact, confidential, professional and timely support to the Chair, Chief Executive, Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief People Officer.

Provide project support across a wide range of business activities, ensuring senior leaders are prepared in the execution of key projects and plans.

This role requires outstanding organisational, interpersonal and project support skills from an individual with experience of supporting the C - Suite in a range of organisational and functional work projects. This is not a secretarial role although some support of this type will be required.

**Key Tasks**
- Act as a senior executive-level Personal Assistant for the senior management forums of the firm, including the Executive Committee, the Management Board, and the Partnership Board which includes scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, coordinating production of papers, producing minutes, following up on actions agreed.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, presentations, and other materials for the Senior Management team and Chair as needed.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Senior Management team and Chair.
- Manage office and corporate events such as Christmas parties, client entertaining and team lunches as required.
- Undertake or support firm-wide project work as required and under the direction of Senior Management members, the Chair or other project managers within the firm. This could include preparing first draft presentations, preparing papers and documents, project scheduling and co-ordination and other senior level executive support.
- Support the Director of Operations in the smooth running of the function, undertaking work and projects that drives and supports organisational efficiency and effectiveness.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- An understanding of the legal sector and/or previous experience in a professional services environment would be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to represent the firm to external audiences, often at senior levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adjust styles according to the audience, develop constructive working relationships and build trust and influence.
- Good planning skills with an eye for detail, combined with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks while remaining calm under pressure, even when working towards tight deadlines.
- A strong ability to research information on the internet and any other sources of data quickly.
- Strong IT skills, including competence in the Microsoft package (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint), as well as Google software and social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn).
- Ability to make first draft presentations on PowerPoint to support executives, often from outlines or concepts.
- An awareness of current affairs with the ability to have a good grasp of local, international, business news.
- Ability to remain completely confidential in all matters entrusted to them.
