**People Development (L&D) Business Partner - Retail**

**Up to £45,000 plus company car and bonus scheme**

This is a field based role, covering the UK & ROI.

The key purpose of this role is to identify, design and implement training and development initiatives to ensure that all colleagues and management have the operational knowledge and skillset to carry out their roles to their best ability and drive businessperformance.

**People Development Business Partner Role Responsibilities**:

- Work with retail fascia stakeholders to understand key development requirements.
- Ensure all training is logged electronically with the ability to report across all activities within each fascia.
- Working in collaboration with people development-leadership, behavioral, employer brand team to ensure consistent rollout to retail, in addition to providing feedback on programs and their effectiveness with all levels within retail.
- Question and update current resources in core and operational development and drive this to be at the forefront of current and emerging trends that enhance performance.
- Monitor how effectively learning has been transferred and deliver a dashboard of relevant metrics to map ROI, programme evaluation and learner adoption.
- Assist in the development, delivery and implementation of new operational processes and technologies.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders within all retail fascias.
- Manage a team to ensure consistency across all operational and development programmes.
- Use digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning transfer.

**About you**:

- Proven experience of L&D gained within a retail operational role.
- Passionate about delivering learning experiences that have positive impact on performance, both individual and retail.
- Proven track record of delivering training, which is digital first and focused on performance development, aligned to business objectives.
- Experience in LMS and Online learning platforms.
- Ability to analyse data to inform further development needs for the individual, the business and continuous improvement of learning materials.
- Possesses a commercial mind-set, high levels of resilience and able to work within a fast paced and changing environment.
- Ability to report on productivity and evaluation of current and new practices.
- Strong project management skills including planning work and managing multiple tasks / projects to deliver consistent results.
- Ambitious to learn with an enthusiastic approach, curiosity and appetite for development.
- Up to date knowledge of emerging trends and best practices of companies in our sector.
- Ability to adapt to a multi-generational workforce.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and make decisions.
- You must have a full UK driving licence as this role involves national travel.
