**Job overview**:
Are you an enthusiastic communicator with a creative flair and a passion for developing engaging content? Join us to develop your skills, knowledge, and experience within a friendly, forward-thinking NHS communications team.

Working with a team of experienced communications professionals, you will be supported through training, skill sharing and mentoring in all areas of communications, marketing, and engagement.

With access to a range of professional tools, you’ll have the chance to use your creativity to bring our messages to life and support us to achieve our communications objectives.

The role will be broad, and you’ll be getting involved with a bit of everything day-to-day, but you’ll also have the chance to develop your skills in any areas of interest you may have, such as social media, web development, graphic design, and videography.

Ideally, you will have a good understanding of internal and external communications channels, experience of writing content for a range of channels and an eye for design - the most important thing is that you are enthusiastic, adaptable, and quick to learn.

We’re a busy, fast-paced team but we always support each other, welcome fresh ideas and most importantly, we are able to add real value with the work we do.

This post is part time 30 hours per week.

**Main duties of the job**:

- Gather information from both CWP and wider sources to inform reactive and proactive communications and engagement to support good reputation management and generating positive news stories.
- Adapt ideas/messages/plans into simple and engaging content for multiple channels and audiences including social media, print, web, newsletters and other publications such as posters, flyers, leaflets.
- Develop outline action plans and provide general advice and support to stakeholders on messaging, implementation and monitoring progress/outcomes.
- Collaborate and partner with colleagues in services, service users, patients and carers to maintain good relationships and to
proactively identify communications and engagement opportunities.
- Promote meaningful engagement of stakeholders to develop a culture of real involvement throughout the Trust - from design, development to delivery.
- Undertake photography shoots and editing for use internally and externally.
- Undertake basic videography/audio recording and editing for use internally and externally.
- Support Trust event co-ordination.
- Contribute to the conceptual development and production of design and branding requests as part of projects, in line with the
departmental strategy.

**Working for our organisation**:
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

Our aim is to help people to be the best they can be, adopting a compassionate, person-centred approach to everything we do. We were recently rated as Outstanding for Caring by the Care Quality Commission with a Good rating overall.

We offer a variety of roles at all levels, so whether you are just starting out in your career or looking to use your skills and experience in a new role, CWP is the right employer for you.

CWP are committed to making our recruitment practices as inclusive as possible for everyone. We are committed to promoting equality and diversity and developing a culture that values differences.

To support this, we offer up to three weeks induction, dependent on role, with our Prepare to Care programme for all new starters. This aims to give you all the knowledge and guidance to help you grow and flourish with CWP.
