Group Internal Communications and Engagement Assistant to join our growing team in
Chester.

Group Internal Communications and Engagement Assistant

We are looking for customer focussed people who are natural listeners and demonstrate strong empathetic skills when dealing with our customers and take ownership of their calls to deliver an outstanding customer service and meet our customers' needs through identifying a solution and provision of a suitable replacement hire vehicle.

  • Achieve individual objectives and key performance indicators as set and agreed.
  • Support the delivery of the internal communications calendar.
  • Continually create ideas to improve and expand our internal communications and to engage our people.
  • Be visible across the Group and assist in embedding our Culture.
  • Support Internal Comms & Engagement Lead to coordinate events and logistics; liaising with venues and attendees, collating slide packs/handouts, dietary requirements, liaising with Accounts to settle invoices.
  • Assist on intranet content across all areas of the Group be the gate keeper for content and publishing and regular 'housekeeping' of content.
  • Support the Group with personalising their intranet content and internal communications strategy to ensure they have maximum impact.
  • Support leaders and committees to ensure collateral is appropriate, timely, suitable and relevant for audiences and avoid duplication of messaging.
  • Reinforce internal terminology such as the use of 'People' and 'Customers'.
  • Work with Bennetts Brook to ensure distribution lists are accurate on a monthly basis.
  • Support colleagues from all areas of the business as required.
  • Able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and customers alike and present your ideas confidently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and good grammatical knowledge, as well as the ability to write in a variety of styles and to edit the contributions of others.
  • Knowledge of the Local Authority regulations
