Our Client is looking for Group Accountant who has more than likely trained in practice and is a 1st or 2nd time mover into industry.
This role will report in to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for the following:

  • Production and consolidation of the monthly management accounts pack for review by the Financial Director
  • Prepare the board pack, providing detailed commentary
  • Responsible for the production of statutory accounts adhering to the relevant accounting standards and governance
  • Point of contact for annual audit
  • Submission of Group Tax return including corporation tax and VAT
  • Balance sheet account control
  • Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Ad hoc financial reporting as required by the GFC
  • Continuous process improvement
  • Ad hoc project work

Skills/Experience

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified, having trained in practice or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 3 years experience within a financial accounting role
  • Good understanding of audit, financial reporting and consolidation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A team player essential, this is a people business, must be able to communicate with people at all levels

Whats On Offer
- £40,000 to £50,000 per annum (possibly up to £55k dependent on experience
