Noticing Coordinator

At GCU, we are dedicated to ensuring that our work scopes are well-planned and communicated, meeting internal resourcing, NRSWA91, and client requirements. As a Noticing Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all GCU works are registered on the Symology system and that our operating teams comply with the noticing requirements set by the geographic region of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately raise notices via the Symology system in accordance with NRSWA 91 requirements.
- Process information from Project Planners/Programme Managers and update the GCU Noticing Tracker (Excel), effectively communicating it to all relevant parties.
- Actively initiate and close notices based on direct information from the Planner/Programme Manager.
- Create and issue DIMS Sheets with retrospective updates of DIMS on Symology.
- Register all other notices, including defects and blockages.
- Monitor all inspections received from the Local Authority, update internal registers, and distribute them to relevant parties for action.
- Complete internal weekly and quarterly reports as requested by management.
**Requirements**:
- Working knowledge of the New Street and Road Works Act 1991 (NSRWA).
- Previous experience of managing notices on the Symology System.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Packages, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
As a Noticing Co-ordinator, you will work closely with various teams and departments, ensuring that all information associated with works is communicated effectively and that operational requirements are met through noticing. You will also be responsible for maintaining health and safety standards in line with GCU's policies.
